Step - 1  Log off the internet, then go to the "Areader" folder on your hard drive

the highlighted icon in the above image is the folder that has the start icon

Step - 2  Double-Click the Acrobat Reader start icon to launch the program

a Reader window will open and install internal files, then open the program  
NOTE: you may want to copy this icon and paste it as a shortcut your desktop 
or a working folder for easy access to starting Acrobat Reader

Step - 3   In the opened Acrobat Reader program, click "File" on the menu bar to show menu items

Step - 4   Click the "Open..." menu item

window will open (shown below( that lets you navigate to where the PDF file you want to open is
located (million is the only PDF file in the "My Documents" folder shown below.  As an example,    
change to the "Areader" folder in your C drive (or wherever you keep the "Areader" folder)

Step - 5   In the "Areader" folder, double-click the Help folder to open it.

Step - 6   In the "Help" folder, double-click the "ENU" folder to open it.

Step - 7   In the "ENU" folder is the "Reader" file containing a user manual; click the "Reader" icon to open it in Acrobat Reader

the manual will appear in the Acrobat Reader program (as shown below), and is now ready to read or print.

Alternate (easier) way to open an Adobe PDF document
Step - 1   Go to the folder that has the PDF file you want to open; this example will use the same manual file as the above example

Step - 2   Simply double-click the "Reader" file icon to open the manual

NOTE:  You can open any PDF file just by double-clicking its file icon (what folder it is in does not matter.)
